Bioera presents Azotofix, its new microbiological solution for more efficient and sustainable nitrogen nutrition.
This innovative product is set to revolutionize nitrogen management in agriculture, allowing crops to directly harness atmospheric nitrogen through the action of selected PGP bacteria.
🌾 A solution designed for the present (and future) of farming
Azotofix is a biofertilizer developed with specific strains of nitrogen-fixing bacteria from the Bacillus genus, isolated and selected from agricultural soils for their high adaptability, strong nitrogen fixation capacity, and long persistence in the phyllosphere and rhizosphere.
With Azotofix, atmospheric nitrogen becomes a constant source of ammonium for crops, reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers, improving soil fertility, and promoting a more balanced agricultural system.
💡 What does Azotofix offer?
✅ Significant reduction in nitrogen fertilizer use
✅ Improved root development and soil biological fertility
✅ Nitrogen persistence in soil, with no leaching losses
✅ Easy application via irrigation or foliar spraying
🌍 Real sustainability, backed by science
Using Azotofix not only improves the farm’s economic and agronomic performance, but also marks a solid step toward regenerative, more sustainable agriculture—where microorganisms work in synergy with crops and their environment.
“We want farmers to have access to a biological, effective, and profitable alternative. With Azotofix, we take another step toward an agricultural model that benefits society and respects the environment,” says Bioera’s Technical Team.
📍 Available in the 2025 season
Azotofix is now available for application in a wide range of crops: winter cereals, corn, rice, all types of vegetables, fruit trees, vineyards, olive trees, and all kinds of woody crops. Its exclusive formulation allows it to adapt to various soil and climate conditions.
With Azotofix, Bioera puts the nitrogen in the air at the service of farmers.
