Bioera is a Spanish company based in Tarragona, founded in 2008. As Yolanda Muñoz, the company’s development technician, explains to FHALMERÍA, it specializes “in self-formulated microbial preparations,” although it also has a nutritional line.
These “bacterial cocktails”, as Muñoz calls them, make it possible to develop alternative programs to chemical disinfection. “This microbial strategy stimulates the defensive techniques of plants against soil pathogens,” the technician says, “so it is compatible with solarization, biosolarization and biofumigation”. This protection also provides benefits in production.
