The Bonanit Foundation of Tarragona is a recognized institution that has been helping and sheltering homeless people since 2006. Annually they collect about 600 people in their facilities, in addition to coordinating with many other charitable organizations such as Caritas, the Food Bank and hospitals in the area.
Health crisis
At this time, with the health crisis, the number of homeless people has increased, but on the contrary, the capacity of this type of accommodation has been reduced for health safety reasons. Therefore, Bioera has decided to approach and help this good cause and offer its solidarity.
Urgent Needs
A few days ago we went to visit them and spent a very pleasant afternoon in the same institution, where they explained to us first hand the most urgent and usual needs they have. After that, we decided to make a donation in kind, which includes: Blankets -a very necessary good that we often overlook when making donations-, Washing Machine and an Electric Cooker, since the one they had was starting to fail.
