The greenhouses of the agricultural family school of Aguadulce are currently a testing ground for residue-free treatments. Professor María Garrido coordinates a group of students from the EFA Campomar who are evaluating how to curb pests such as Tuta Absoluta, in collaboration with two companies such as Biogard and Bioera.
“Many of these students are the children of farmers, they will be the ones who will continue their parents’ activity, and here at the agricultural school we are instilling in them that agriculture with more sustainable solutions is possible, without waste, as we are analyzing in the trial with these two companies,” says María Garrido.
